I knew Fred mostly through the stories, some of them very funny and touching, I must say and medical updates from Christine. He was a courageous man, a loving father, and husband. When my 18 month old grandson was waiting for a heart transplant, I would send updates to Christine through Fred. Even though Fred was going through his own medical challenges he always took time to send me an uplifting thought of encouragement. I marveled at his compassion. He will be remembered by many who have been touched by this wonderful man. Rebecca Aliberte
